Hi all,
Been tabled this offer prior to setting keepers. Start 11 fwd, 4 dmen, 10 keepers, 1 point per goal/assist and taking the 2 I would need to drop M. Stone.
Is this worth it next season and onwards? Thanks for your time!

Those would be my 10 keepers for you, and I would be looking to maybe package Ghost +Krug for maybe Burns or Karlsson, and just slide Letang into the keeper group. OEL would be last among those guys in points-only I think.

You're essentially trading Rantanen & Stone for Ghost & Aho.
Hard pass for me.
Also, taking a look at your keepers, I'd highly suggest keeping Krug over OEL.

It would help to know how many you start at each position. If you start a good number of D then I'd pull the trigger, since Ghost and Aho will likely benefit you more than what you'd have if you stood pat.

I love Gostisbehere, but with Letang, OEL, and Krug, I think you are deep enough on defense, so there is no point in downgrading Rantanen to Aho. Not to mention that it will hurt to lose Stone and his almost guaranteed 65 pts.

How many do you start at each position and is it weekly / daily / H2H etc?
On the surface I don't like giving up rantanen (I'm less concerned about Stone). That said, Gost is the best player at his position in this trade with your format. I'd like more info about your format before making a decision. It will likely come down to expected point differential between Rantanen and his replacement and Gost vs who he'd replaces on your team. As mentioned I'd keep Krug (and probably Letting)over OEL in this setup myself.

I think I would do it except for the fact that the guy who proposed it has a stacked team and is trying to consolidate 2 for 1, and I don't want to stack his team more, its really boiling down to if Rantanen can repeat year in year out . will make a decision shortly, thanks for the input!

I would do it. Gostisbehere is still young and is one of the best options on D in a points league, and you're thin there. I love Stone but next year is looking ugly and the year after that will depend on where he chooses to sign. Aho has already surpassed Stone's best season (in total points, not pace) and is 5 years younger. I might hesitate in a trade straight up between those 2, but add Ghost into the question and I'm in.
