He came back to me offering his Matthew vs my Kuznetsov + picks rounds 2 and 3 in 2019. So I give a better player in Kuznetsov but I keep Montour....so it's a yes??

I had to read it twice to make sure it says Kuznetsov and not Kucherov.
I like this deal WAY better than the first one, and I still would have accepted the first one.
The fact that you get to keep Montour is GREAT. It's 12F vs 6D which gives D extra value, and you already have a solid core, so keeping Montour in there is excellent. Get it done.

Glad this trade worked out for you. Only, beware of the Matthews love which seems to be a little too abundant around these boards. I believe he's a great player but I have Kuznetsov in his same tier in points-only league. Name value is definitely worth something and your friend might've played a little on that. I prefered the original deal greatly (even though Montour is a nice keep).
That being said, Matthews is younger and has a little more upside so maybe I'm wrong here. Anyway, always fun to make trades!
