I would say if fans say they are happy with the direction of the team, then I think they are not going to be swayed by anything we say! lol

I find it hard to believe that fans would be happy at dealing away their franchise player, unable to unload Bobby Ryan, alienating Stone and Duchene to the point where there is little chance they will want to re-sign with the team. Plus, why would a player want to come to Ottawa via a trade or free agency? Unless the owner is angling to move the franchise, I can't see how this unexpected rebuild is being welcomed by fans. They should feel betrayed and disappointed.
