Zadina, but he better start learning to keep his head up coming across the center of the blueline. He has been hit hard twice now by inexperienced teammates.

How does the fact that they should have traded it make Tkatchuk an "awul" pick. It's two different issues.

i had picks 1,2,4 and 7.
i had Dahlin, Pettersson, Svech, Zadina, and Tkachuk on my radar
i drafted EP, Dahlin 1 and 2. i had 3rd overall guy pegged to take Kovalchuk (who went 6th), but he took Svech. at 4th i took Zadina and 7 i got Tkachuk..

That's a nice haul. Similar to my draft... I had picks 1, 3, 4, 7 and 8... went with Dahlin (1), Q. Hughes (3), Zadina (4), Borgstrom (7) and Wahlstrom (8).
As for the OP - I would probably go Zadina over Tkachuk but this is closer than most think IMO. Tkachuk is going to surprise a lot of folks. I think he scores 30 and soon.
