How's everyone feeling about their teams / the season so far?

No feeling too badly about it.
Defence is pretty solid, goaltending has been a bit up and down. Forwards are solid at the top, but could use an extra piece or two on the depth side.

+/- is hurting me. Otherwise I'm happy with my pace.

Not too happy. I was expecting to have a huge lead in first place ... didn't help Carter Hart didn't turn into the star goalie / Calder candidate as I thought he would be lol. I think I always have a bad +/- team no matter what.

Feeling pretty crappy. Two weeks in I could justify my ~11th ranking as sample size error. After over a month now, that excuse is wearing thin.

Normally my draft strategy is a mix of feel and sterile number crunching. Last year I went almost exclusively feel with winning results. This year I tilted entirely in the other direction, and it really bit me a couple of times (Excel told me to pick Provorov over Rielly, which felt a little off as I clicked "draft". FML. Gave me plenty of ideas for improvement next year.

On the flip side, it truly is exhilarating to be worried about defeat (or even, *gasp*, relegation!). I think one could make the argument that I've had it easy the last 6 years. So thanks, guys!

I think you're not getting offers because you're in first haha.

Was hoping to be higher in the standings by now (don't we all). However, I look at the amount of games my team has played (at or close to bottom) and realize I should be able to make up some ground once the games played are more even. I'd be more optimistic if some of the players I drafted were closer to what I was expecting out of them.

I'm wondering how many more productive defencemen I can trade away before I start to slip down the standings.
