Re: 2018/19 Dobber Expert - Stanley League
Can't complain too much so far. I'm in 5th right now, 9~ points out of 1st, and I have room for immediate growth of about 10~ points.
My forwards have been performing quite well, although I'm a bit short on hits -- the Brown injury didn't help me there, but I also need guys like Rakell, Forsberg, and Gardiner to start picking up the slack. Backstrom and Duchene have been great for me considering where I drafted them (actually, that's true for all of the Sens players I own!), and the Lehner/Greiss combo is helping make up for the otherwise slow starts of Gibson and Hellebuych (although they do continue to make lots of saves, regardless). My D's performance has been less stellar, but then again, it is nearly impossible to carry 5+ good D in this league -- I'd just like to see one of Hanifin or Matheson turn a corner soon.
I think the big challenge for my team is whether my skaters will be able to keep up this pace.
