If Burns and Karlsson each get roughly 22 mins / game, you're looking at 45 minutes out of 60 in which EK/Burns (or both) are on the ice for San Jose. That's 3/4 of the game with the two of the best play-driving Dmen in the league. And that's if their minutes are kept down to a reasonable level. If they're both around 25 minutes, which is a possibility (especially in the playoffs), this team will be so annoying to play against. They're easily in the conversation for best team in the West, if not the NHL, right now.

Before the trade I seen the Jones winning 30-35 games. Now I'm hopeful for 35-40. 40 might be a bit of a stretch but who knows. San Jose is looking very good.
