Default Is it a good return?

League in sig. It?s my first year and i picked up J.Carter and R.Suter in my expansion draft just to use them as trade baits. So far , I?ve been offered a 3rd and a 7th for next year?s rookie draft(that?s for only 1 , so it is 2x3rd+2x7th) These pick should be around 25 and 60 . I think it?s a pretty fair return for two 33 years guys. Should I pull the trigger?

Honestly I'd want more but that's me. Carter should still put up good numbers

I would take it for sure in a league with your settings.

I was able to add a 4th pick in our upcoming UFA draft and made those deals

I would have kept Carter in my opinion, if he stays healthy he is going to get his normal 30-35 goals and 30-35 apples, he might be 33 but from what I am hearing is he is in the best shape he has been in in quite some time....but either way it is all done now.

I misread that there was a salary cap, but I still think it's fine selling those guys off. You should be able to replace them fairly easily.

I wasn’t ready to wait and see , just to get a little more. I just got 4 assets for 2 guys that was really not in my long term plan. So , I’m pretty happy of the return.

Oh not a bad deal at all....especially in a CAP league.....I just would have held on to Carter to see what was happening with him this year, but could of been tough to do with his cap hit

your sig says NO salary cap... I would have held.

Suter coming back and putting himself on a 50+pt pace would have netted higher picks. He was your best Dman as well. Carter was also a top 5 F for you with 60pt potential still .

Patience would likely have netted you a much better return.

So this is a 9 team league that just expanded from 7? If I'm reading that right... man, they set up some favourable expansion rules for themselves
