With karlsson gone somebody needs to step up that team, love his upside, doesn?t matter if the team sucks IMO, he?s gonna get a every opportunity to succeed now, let?s talk 3 year projection?

He’s the real deal. Remember how good he was at the WJC? In 3 years, I see him around 50 points easily.

Will he get 40 this year is the question. I drafted him in one league hoping for exactly this. How many minutes a game is he going to play? He will certainly be filling some of Karlsson's 27min per game void which will include PP1. Sadly Ottawa is a lock at scoring well below league average.

Im not sure he gets 40. I think he starts out on a good trend, but Sens will eventually ( most likely ) deal Dutch and Stone by the deadline. Goals will be hard to come by in Ottawa for the near future at least. But in 3 years as some of the prospects come up and mature he should be a good bet for 50 in 3 years+.

OK, so I have partaken of the Chabot coolaid. I also agree he will have every chance to succeed. For the sake of argument, lets say he does, even conservatively.

Now for a league that counts +/-, what is his projected +/- this year, and the next two years? i.e. Is he going to be a 50 pts player, but be -20, making him a rather useless 30 pts player?

I think the only question is whether his minus will be more than his points scored

Going to be close I am sure. My leagues do not use +/- stat so non-issue.
