There is not an Erik Karlsson extension as part of this deal.

Sens also get a 2nd rd pick in 2021. It becomes a first if the Sharks sign him and SJ makes it to the final yhis season.The Sens also get a 1rst in 2021 or 2022 if Karlsson plays for an eastern team in 2018/19.

DeMelo could have good value in Ottawa, probably be PP2 quarterback and get alot of offensive minutes, he did good offensively in limited minutes in San Jose, I'd say good under the radar defense pick-up in leagues that don't count Plus-Minus, he also hit and blocked at a decent rate last year.
