And I thought Montreal was going to be bad!
Does anyone have contact info for Big Ev? We should send a care package
Without me, it's only "aweso".

Wow this is such a bad trade
My best guess is Ottawa forgot to include Bobby Ryan in the trade call and the Sharks are like "yeah this is what we agreed to..."

Part of the conditional picks, if he agrees to re-sign.Elliotte Friedman
There is not an Erik Karlsson extension as part of this deal.
Makes a bit more sense why the return was so low, maybe?

There's also a condition that if he is traded to the East the Sens get a 1st-round pick. Doug Wilson won't burn Dorion again that way I guess.
Dean Brown @PxPOttawa More
Sens also get a 2nd rd pick in 2021. It becomes a first if the Sharks sign him and SJ makes it to the final yhis season. The Sens also get a 1rst in 2021 or 2022 if Karlsson plays for an eastern team in 2018/19.

Ottawa absolutely schooled by Doug Wilson.....again.
Seems to be a very underwhelming deal for the Sens. I would have just gave Karlsson a blank cheque and asked how many years you want? hmm
DeMelo could have good value in Ottawa, probably be PP2 quarterback and get alot of offensive minutes, he did good offensively in limited minutes in San Jose, I'd say good under the radar defense pick-up in leagues that don't count Plus-Minus, he also hit and blocked at a decent rate last year.
