Start Conner in the Flex?

Standard league.
QB (1): Rodgers
RB (2): Cook, Howard, Ajayi, Conner, Cohen, Clement
WR (2): C. Davis, Kupp, Keelan Cole, Doctson, Jeffery
TE (1): Walker
Flex (1): One of the above

Who do I start in my flex is my big question. My WR are bad, but it?s a 10-team league and I think I should be able to bandage it through the year.

Do I start Ajayi on Thursday night? Or take the chance on Conner (Pitts) on Sunday in my flex and hope he gets the large share of the load?

I see the temptation of starting Conner (I agree that it's really unlikely that Bell plays this weekend if he shows up in the next few days to avoid forfeiting his game 1 check), but I'm still going with a lineup of Ajayi, Cook and Howard.

I'm generally not a fan of Ajayi. But Cleveland's run D should be better, game script isn't guaranteed to favor the Steelers/Conner given what should also be an improved Browns offense, and Ajayi should be guaranteed a nice workload to compensate for the Eagles' passing attack still not being at full strength.

So while I certainly can see Conner's ceiling being higher this week, I'd roll with the safer floor in Ajayi.
