Default Question for those more knowledgeable

    Hey guys,

Kind of a random thought I had in my mind, but I've noticed that most of the time when we talk about deadly one-timers on the PP, we think of guys like Ovechkin, Stamkos, Kovalchuk, etc...and they're all right-handed shots.

Are there also left handed shots that do the same thing for their respective PP?

Kucherov is the first one that comes to mind, but you're right, it does seem like there are fewer left-handed one-timer kings.

The only ones that come to mind are Malkin, Tarasenko and Kucherov

Tolvanen and Vesalainen have a chance to become that type of players with a left-handed shot. They both have a great one-timer and they love using it from the right half-wall. But obviously you'll never know if they actually end up playing that position where they can have success.

Svechnikov and Zadina are even more likely to end up being that type of players, though. But yes, at the moment there aren't all that many (Kucherov, Tarasenko and Malkin were already mentioned).

Hoffman's one-timer from that position is pretty deadly.

Really there's only a handful of guys with this ability in the league anyways. I have a count of 8 players total that would have what I'd consider a truly feared 1-timer and it's fairly balanced. Let me know if there's someone you think I'm missing, but these are the only guys I can think of where you do your best to not let them tee up from their spot on the PP.

RH - Seguin, Ovechkin, Laine, Stamkos, Kovalchuk
    LH - Malkin, Tarasenko, Kucherov

And this is a list of "honorable mention" type guys that you maybe could include in the list but I don't think they're to the same level.

RH - Pastrnak, Eichel, Mackinnon, Giroux
    LH - Skinner, Rantanen, Hoffman

Really it's not a huge list

Not disagreeing with the point, generally pretty fair. Just wanted to add Subban and Weber to the list
