I don't view him as an upgrade, they are pretty close with your categories. However, if you could keep Gibson for a couple more years than Andersen, given the league limits, that may be a reason to make the deal.

Gibson is the more talented netminder but for fantasy purposes I'd much rather have Andersen (who is no slouch either). Toronto is shaping up to be a powerhouse for the foreseeable future whereas Anaheim looks to be headed for some rebuilding years. Keep Andersen.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that Gibson is a better option than Andersen. Just depends on what the cost is.
Sure Toronto got Tavares, but they still haven't addressed their biggest weakness which is their D. Andersen will still be a solid option given that he has the talent to put up some great numbers, but when you compare Toronto's system to Anaheim's system, it is much more in favour of Gibson.

Andersen will rack up a lot more wins. He will lag behind a bit in the other goalie stats likely, but he is still your clear choice. Plus, Gibson is a BAB.
