New points only league started up and we are drafting over email. 9F 3D 1G 3Bench. 14 managers. Keep 5 players. Thought it would be fun and informative to post results and discuss so here goes. I pick last in snake draft.

42. was thinking murray but same manager as before rooked me, only 1G in settings and only 4 teams without G right now and no real standouts available so i skip picking a G figuring they will still be there for me next time. consider ghost a little, but we roster 3 times as many F as D so I pick Barzal.

Round 4
43. i consider Tarasenko but pick Kuznetsov

45. Jones - 1st manager with 2G (murray too). only 82 G games to make up but a tiny bench of 3 players and limited moves available. so need 2 starters really in this league. hope this doesnt start a trend or i'll be rostering two terrible starting G

and this is where we sit. i've got 4F so far with matthews, eichel, barzal, kuzy. not that i expect barzal to do what he did last year again but we keep 5. long way to go til i pick again and only a few good G left, numerous good D but think there will be a D run coming soon. we'll see who is available before i decide what to do next. i'll keep thread updated

Great 4 forwards, but you're gonna be thin everywhere else. Need some D. Might get lucky with late goalie fliers (Hutton, Reimer, Bishop, Schneider, etc.)

Agree. I would have gone with Ghost at the second turn.

That being said, I think all your other picks should have gone way earlier.. Eichel/Matthews at 14/15, Kuz at 43 is great!

glad its all F picked since mine, but theres another 18 to be made before its back to me. I didn't plan for 4F off the bat it was more a decision based on who was skipped over before me. still 3 good G options available in dubnyk, Talbot, quick, and maybe a dozen 50 pt D men. i'll have to see if there are any runs before its back to me, but probably going 1d 1g or 2d next. mind you backstrom is currently available and I'd be tempted to grab him and take a gamble on a lower ranked D instead
