Default NFL - What draft pick do you want this year?

10 team 0.5 PPR league....we get some input on what spot we end up drafting in. Where would you want to pick in this format? I'm completely torn. So much so that I almost don't care where I end up ....but....I have to submit something.

I love the idea of getting one of those amazing studs.....but then I can also love the back end where I can likely get a tier 1 RB and WR....who obviously come with more risk.

    I can't decide. Help me

I would want pick #4. Can't go wrong with whoever falls to you in my opinion just hope they don't get hurt, which seems to be the case for anyone. And then you still have a chance to get 2 top 10 running backs/wide receivers if it pans out for you. If not you still have an early 3rd rounder with plenty of options. Obviously these are just based of my personal ranks.

See.....4 is the spot I love as well! BUT.....I can't figure out who I would take? Zeke DJ or Antonio. No idea.

Zeke, DJ, Antonio is how I would rank. More depth at wide receiver but easier to replace a running back with all the injuries. Meaning I would draft a running back with that pick so that way you have one stud running back. Draft two wide receivers with you're next two picks and they should both be hovering around the top 8-15 range. Then draft running back heavy for the rest of the draft to cover that position on a week to week basis.

I would want #3, then you are guaranteed one of Gurley, L.Bell, or D.Johnson.....

    5th.

You end up in the middle and you get one of Bell, Gurley, DJ, Zeke and Barkley. I've come around to the fact Barkley is a 1st round pick.

    5th.... you get

one of Elliot, D. Johnson or Barkley...

Then on the way back you get an elite receiver as well:

    K. Allen
    D. Adams
    AJ Green

or you can take another good RB.

5th....has got to be my least favorite spot in recent years....but I can't argue with this logic.

Yeah I'll take 5th. It's also really easy to forecast your next pick being only 10picks away.

Yeah, last 3 yrs 5th was purgatory. Not good enough for the elite players, not bad enough to double up on the tier 2 guys. This yr, that tier 1 is 6 players deep now.

Did something happen to Fournette that I missed?

Also, another benefit of drafting right smack in the middle is that you don't 'reach' too far for a player like when you are on the turn, because you want a player and they might not make it 20 picks back to you. There is only every 10 picks between your picks... so you never have to look further than 10 players down your list to see who you want and you always mentally take the best player available, where as when you are close to the turn, you always end up getting cute and trying to make sure you get both players you want... sometimes it works... sometimes it backfires. haha

Whoops, he should be in the 2nd round pick.

Also, I don't know why his O-Rank is 25th, his ADP is roughly 16th.

Yep I understand that mindset for sure. I just usually go for one end because I do like getting those 2 quick picks even if it means waiting.

I'd recommend doing some mocks with your setup, but I've always been a fan of being 1 or 2 from the end in either direction.

I can generally predict what my opponents will do, and while it doesn't matter much early, it's big later on, when you know you can slough a position around the turn. It's really good in league with max benches per position, as in the late rounds there will be guys who have maxed out WR or RB.

quick hint about mocks...if you're in a 10 team league do a 12 team mock. 12 team league, 14 team mock etc. Make it difficult on yourself
