Cagematch, Eric vs Moses?!? Better dig into their comment analytics. I think they both have solid 1st line tof (time on forum). Eric being an 08' veteran to Moses going live in 13' has to play a role. Moses is about to crack 3k. Eric is past 30k! Moses has parted seas so Daoust can't compete there. If Moses wasn't weighed down by a tablet I'm sure he'd be doing laps around Eric by now. I'm taking Moses for this one. G may not repeat 100 but I think he'll outpoint JT.

This is so tough but I think I go tavares. Yes johnny will see less ice time but I think playing with marner and with teams not as able to key on him he shows out. I think giroux (and couturier even more for that mattter) is going to regress somewhat.

This is a very tough call, but I think I'll side with Tavares here for a couple reasons. First off, he's the younger player and there's something to be said for that. Secondly, because of the team he plays for his perceived value is off the charts right now. There have been some downright zany projections for this upcoming season, and while I don't necessarily agree that JT is going to improve on his ~ PPG totals, he has never been a more desirable keeper league asset than he is this summer. I really don't expect too much difference between these two players' point totals for the next couple seasons (probably 75ish points), but for a variety of reasons Tavares has the greater trade value.
Maybe see what the trade value of Tavares is around your league, and just keep Giroux? Or try the opposite? I think I would trade whichever player gets me the greater return, and then happily keep whichever I'm left with.
