    Yahoo H2H league
    G,A,P, +/-PP, PIMS S, BLKS GAA, SV% SV, WINS
10 Team League, last year in keeper
    I have the following keepers

    Wheeler
    Pavelski
    Draisatl
    Burns
    Karlsson
    Dubynk
    Talbot.

My concern is nothing have enough forward depth, or goal scoring depth. Do you think the following trades make sense.

    Karl or Burns for Eichel
Karl or burns for Giroux or schiefele
    Karl or burns or Kuzentov

    Please and thank you guys

I'd keep karlsson and move burns for anyone of eichel/kuz and scheif especially in a keeper cause you could use a bit more youth

Provided the owners of those forwards have a need at D and reasonable forward depth its realistic to acquire anyone of those forwards for burns or karlsson

its the last year in the keeper, so really not a keeper anymore.

My concern with Burns is he still put up 300 plus shots and 60 pts usually. Karl is worrying me due to him not being traded and staying in Ottawa.

Should I just stand pat and draft?

My first thought when reading your post... I would not be trading Burns with this set of CATS [G, A, P, +/-, PP, PIMS, SOG, BLKS]. You can't do better than Brent Burns.

As this is the last year of the keeper settings you do not need to focus on youth or upside or futures or gambles. Your league is now in an all-out 1-year sprint to the finish line. You are looking strictly at the numbers and ignoring the names. Get the best players as possible regardless of how old they are.

How many players do you have on your roster at every position? Burns covers your cats and Karlsson has the ability (if he gets traded maybe now i will admit) to put up 75 points as a defenceman which is similar production to all those forwards...from a DEFENCEMAN, he is super valuable. I am a Karlsson owner in the last year of a keeper and I wouldn't do any of those trades tbh. Unless your league doesn't require you to roster a certain number of D.

I would hold both Burns and Karlsson. They are likely the 2 best at their position in the league this year. Find another way to help your forward core.

Thank you all. the league has 12 forwards 4 dmen and 2 goalies with 3 utlitiy spots. what i am hearing is it is easier to replace the forward depth than the defensive core?

Elite D are hard to get. You have the best 2 in the game. Wouldn’t move either.
