Chychrun vs chabot
I'm in a cap league and I might need an affordable D to help balance my numbers. I know I will be able to choose one of Chychrun or Chabot and I'm just wondering which D would put up more points. They both should have pp2 time because pp1 time is already take. As of now Karlsson is on Ottawa and if he stays all the way until the trade deadline, how would you rank the 2. If Karlsson is traded I would put Chabot in front of Chychrun but as of now, Karlsson is on Ottawa.

I literally just sold Chychrun for Chabot a few weeks ago. Chychrun is buried on the 3rd pairing and struggling with knee issues. Chabot has the spot on the top pairing, and PP2 time, now. Confident that barring injury, a 35-40 point season is more than doable this year. Chabot 100%.

When both D have similar skill sets, you have to go their specific situation...team they play for, how they will be deployed, PP time, who they lineup with 5v5 etc, as well as injury history. The last one is a clear win for Chabot, as Chychryn is already considered a band-aid boy. The disaster that is Ottawa must be taken into consideration as well, but I like Chabot now, with Karlsson to learn from, and I like Chabot when Karlsson inevitably leaves too!
