Konecny, Girard or Sprong for Last Keeper Spot

Good day all,

I am looking for a little assistance in selecting the player for my protected list for the 2nd team in my signature.

It is going to be either Konecny, Girard or Sprong.

Konecny is only going to be $5 which is pretty cheap and will have dual eligibility C/RW.

Girard is also going to be $5 which again is cheap especially for and up and coming DMan. Dmen are valuable with the scoring in this pool. My concerns with him are is he going to be playing PP and will he become a top pairing Dman.

Sprong is also cheap at $2 and as we can see on the threads that are on this site, he is picking up value with the possibilty of playing with Sid or Gino.

Any advice is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

I might keep Konecny and Sprong over OEL. Then you can try to cheaply value draft Girard.

I agree. Sprong or Girard MAY become better assets down the road, but it's hard to argue with what we've seen from Konecny at this point too.

EB, interesting thought of keeping Konecny and Sprong over OEL. I have had some 2nd round draft pick offers for OEL, but have not accepted them yet. I did ponder going this route though, but then thought against it, as DMen hold value. Now you have me thinking again.

So, out of curiosity, if I was looking to keep Konecny and Sprong, what would you all feel be fair value return for OEL in a trade?

Considering he's $46 of your $300 cap (about 15%) I feel like he's pretty replaceable through the draft so I wouldn't expect too much.
If you can still get that 2nd rounder, I would be all over that.

Yeah - that $46 contract is an albatross and will lower whatever his fair value actually is

Man, I like all three, but gun to head, Konecny, Girard, then Sprong.

I like all three, I am targeting Sprong and Girard, cuz so cheap. If jus one its to pick, then its Konecny for me.
