Another vote for Hughes. Buddy of mine who played a high level of hockey and is an instructor has a lot of high praise for Hughes. He said when it's all said and done, Hughes can be right there with Dahlin for best offensive d-man in the draft. He apparently has the tools to do it, just a matter of putting it together.

If we are just talking H2H, then Hughes but if we are talking about the threesome, then I can see a reason to like Bouchard too. McDavid/Draisaitl are no-brainers compared to Pettersson/Boeser.

I think Hughes is the more dynamic water bug but I'm not so sure I would take him over Bouchard in fantasy.
Bouchard steps onto a team that features McDavid and Draisaitl, and they are starved for a PPQB.
Just like J.Carlson got to feast with Ovechkin, Backstrom, Kuznetsov, etc. ... Bouchard will get his.
In terms of environment and opportunity, Bouchard has a huge advantage over Hughes.
Unless you get points for players skating all over and going end-to-end, gimme Booch.

bit biased as a Canucks fan but I like Hughes here in points only. Both should be great options down the road tho.

Bouchard, I believe will give you more - faster than Hughes due to the maturity of the team around him. The Canucks are 2-3 years away from really doing anything, no matter how ready Hughes is, he'll suffer due to the team around him.
I like Hughes upside over Bouchard, but it could be 4-5 years before Hughes surpasses Bouchard in points.
