I had the 2nd overall pick this year (so basically Svechnikov) and I've trade him for Keller, Kostin and pick 14 overall (Morgan Frost).
I wouldn't have traded Svechnikov 1 vs 1 for Keller as I like him better but I see them close enough to have traded him with an add. I'm also in win now mode and Keller further in it's development.
I think both have similar upside.

Keller for me, but it will be fun to see how Svechnikov adapts to the NHL game.

I'd go Keller as well. Already proven he can score close to 70 points and is still very young.

Svechnikov has a very underrated playmaking skillset. If you watch him, he has all the ability in the world to finish, but has set up some really beautiful goals as well in tight spaces.Originally Posted by ccsitdown
