This year my "Lowdown" feature in the Fantasy Guide (https://www.dobbersports.com/shop) will be 100% reader-influenced. I would love your help determining which players to dig deep on and give my thoughts as to their immediate and long-term futures. Typically I stay away from the obvious superstars that will just take up valuable space (why should I tell you that Sidney Crosby is good - didn't you know that?). I also stay away from pure prospects that have in-depth profiles in the Fantasy Prospects Report, since three-quarters of the Guide customers also get the FPR (via the Keeper League Pack). What's left are the guys who are more of a question mark. The tough decisions.
We'll take the Top 2 players voted here and put them in our Facebook poll to get the final guy. Anaheim (Montour wins over Kase!), Arizona (Dvorak wins over Galchenyuk!), Boston (DeBrusk wins over Heinen!), Buffalo (A TIE! Reinhart tied Thompson so I guess I'll have to do TWO lowdowns for BUF!), Calgary (Lindholm over Bennett!), Carolina (Faulk ekes past Rask), Chicago (DeBrincat wins over Schmaltz!), Colorado (Girard wins over Jost!), Columbus (Dubois wins over Milano!), Dallas (Honka wins over Lindell!), Detroit (Note - I already profiled Svechnikov in the Prospects Report so he shouldn't have been in the poll. So Athanasiou was done instead!), Edmonton (Puljujarvi wins over Klefbom!), Florida (Matheson baaaaarely gets past Bjugstad 51% to 49%!), Los Angeles (Kempe over Toffoli!), Minnesota (Eriksson Ek over Coyle!), Montreal (Domi over Drouin!), Nashville (Fiala over Turris!), New Jersey (Zacha over Butcher!), NY Islanders (Pulock over Beauvillier!), Rangers (Buchnevich over DeAngelo!), Senators (Chabot over White!), Flyers (Patrick over Konecny!) are already in the books, and the PIT and SJS polls are up NOW so check them out and vote https://www.facebook.com/DobberSports/

"Cleavage is like the sun. You can look, but dont stare.. Unless you're wearing sunglasses."
Where do you see Jake Virtanen slotting in this year?
- I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"
Goldobin for me, but Virtanen is interesting as well.

As a Canucks watcher the only player i’m not sure of is Leipsic. Where does he fit in the puzzle? Dorset or Burrows or Kessler?

As a Canucks fan I agree that there are too many fantasy irrelevant names on this list.
Having said that, this is a make-or-break season for Goldobin, as he's on the final year of his entry-level deal and he's shown flashes of brilliance. Virtanen also makes sense, although we have a larger sample size from him.

Pouliot, because what the hell, why not? He had his lowdown in PIT I think, so why not here...

There were 4 I was really interested in, but went with Virtanen, his skill set is by far the most intriguing for MC leagues.
Goldobin, Pouliot, Baertchi were the other three I was torn to degrees on...
On the flip side, covering Loui might be a good idea... what the hell happened/is wrong to/with him?!?!

Goldobin - will he ever live up to his hype?
