Does anyone know why they haven't revealed Pulock's new AAV yet? Seems odd to me.

[Re-signed]Ryan Pulock - 2 year deal
Pulock has signed a two-year contract with the New York Islanders.
Pulock scored 10 goals and 32 points in 68 games last season. He was a restricted free agent this summer. The Islanders didn't disclose the financial terms of the deal and they weren't otherwise available at the time of writing. Jul 17 - 5:03 PM

in cap leagues this is screaming bargain for the next two years. Personally, I think this comes back to bite Lou. Shoulda locked him up - see Roman Josi as exhibit A as to why

In cap leagues, this is a great contract. In the real NHL, this is just another "show me" bridge contract. It may be a lower end one, but still just a show me bridge deal. If he was as good as we all think he is, he'd have gotten more money.

He's gonna SHOW you by putting up 20 goals and 50 points this year.

Keep 13 players and 6 Farm players must be under 24 and played less then 100 NHL career games. If under 24 but played over 100 games they cannot stay on farm but do not have to be protected in off season.

this being a realistic possibility is why they should have followed the Rielly & Josi model --
Josi signed his $4m/7yr deal in 2013 after posting
52gp - 5g 11a in 2011/12
48gp - 5g 13a in 2012/13
Which means he was... wait for it...... 23 when he signed the 7yr deal.
Lou and the Isles are going to pay huge in 2yrs for this bridge deal 7yrs for 5 - 5.5m would look like an absolute steal in 3yrs time. Now they're going to be faced with 7m+ -- bookmark this
