Keeper Defense: Klingberg or Seth Jones
Hey guys, looking for help on my defense keeper in a Goals, Assists, SOG +/- league. Tossed between Klingberg and Seth Jones. Klingberg obviously has the offensive upside, but Jones should out-shoot him by 50ish? Also, not sure if I fully believe in Klingberg's numbers given his second-half slide.

I love Seth Jones. I think he's just starting to scratch the surface as far as an elite, #1 D. I think he has "Hedman" written all over him. The thing that scares me the most is the Panarin situation - I think the biggest difference between Jones and Klingberg is the toys they have to play with. I still go Jones because I love him, but wouldn't fault anyone for going with Klingberg.

Lots of ppl here r saying klingberg unless karlsson goes to Dallas. Well, if karlsson does go to Dallas, then no one in their right mind would ever deal Jones for klingberg, as it would kill klingberg's value. I'd take Jones now because karlsson MIGHT go to Dallas, not if.
I believe karlsson winds up in Dallas. When push comes to shove, they have the best player in all the possible deals being mentioned to offer, and that's heiskanen. Once they decide that it's worth it to trade him, karlsson is theirs. I think they're just playing hardball with Ottawa to see if they can get karlsson without trading heiskanen, but once they realize that won't work, they'll pull the trigger.
