Default Back ups to starters, hire or fire?

In my H2H league (the one in my sig) goalies count for 4 out of the 12 weekly stats (Wins, GAA, SV% & SO), so pretty important.

My current goalies, carried over from last season, are Holtby, Allen, Grubauer, Hutton & Reimer.

Holtby and Allen are keepers for sure, as they give me two starters but are any of the other three worth considering as keepers or drop the lot/try to trade one of the three for a pick??

All three have question marks as I see it:

Reimer - In a tandem with Luongo (who is available in next years draft), does Reimer start taking more of the starts due to Luongo wearing down and injuries?
Grubauer - Excellent back up in Wsh, really good stats, but is he now in a tandem in Col or expected to be the starter?
Hutton - Another back up that has now gone into a possible starters position but is he able to handle the workload and is he a genuine starter?

With two solid starters do I just hope for a decent third option in the draft??

    Thoughts and advice greatly appreciated

If Reimer/Hutton are potential keepers then who exactly is available?? Reimer is not a good goalie, am I missing something here?? And Hutton is no star..

I was going to say Korpisalo, but no way he is available if James Reimer is a potential keeper.. I wouldn't keep Reimer/Hutton..

A lot of managers stack up on goalies at the end of the season, so it is always difficult to know who maybe available in the draft, most managers will keep 2 or 3 when the final keepers are decided as well. I was just wondering if any of these 3 have the potential to be worth holding onto along with the other 2 or are they all meh.

I'd say they all have potential. Grubauer & Hutton I like more than Reimer.

Hutton & Grubauer have a path to a starting gig this year, and could hold it. Grubauer should be expected to be the guy after this year, Hutton is far less clear.

Reimer hasn't supplanted Luongo yet, and that's been the plan, plus he's injury-prone.

You have two starters, and 20 skaters I would want to keep. So you're going to have to narrow that down to at most 18 skaters, if not less to keep more goalies. None of the goalies you are discussing are worth using a keeper spot on for this season, so I would leave it and try to nab one (or a better one) in the draft.

This is the most obvious way of looking at it, do either of these three supplant any of my skaters, probably not. I already have two starters, so best to try and get my #3 in the draft.

Thanks, will give rep when it lets me.
