Default Couturier or Hamilton - kleeper?

Which one would you keep out of these 2?

Team in sig, debating on which will be final 6th keeper.

I would probably keep Couturier, but how many Cs and D can you start every night? Might even things out a little if you don't have many slots for Cs.

50+ point dmen are harder to replace so I'm leaning towards Dougie Hamilton!!

So up to 3 Cs with no winger eligibility can play a night, vs 4 D; and you have no blocked shots category, which is all the more reason to not use the util on a 5th Dman. Couturier's my pick.

Hamilton for me with the positional premium of D versus C.
10 team Head-to-head true dynasty. Roster 33, draft 2, cut down before season. Start 1 G, 1-2 backup G's, 6 D, 12 F arranged in 4 lines of 3. Only categories that matter are Goals, Assists, Save% with a shutout bonus. Having NHL teammates helps.

    G: F Andersen
    Backup G: Holtby
D: Gardiner, M Reilly, Letang, Klingberg, Gostisbehere, Carlson
    F1: Voracek, Giroux, Couturier
    F2: Wheeler, Schiefele, Tavares
    F3: Benn, Seguin, MacKinnon
    F4: Stamkos, Point, JT Miller

    Bench:
    G: (none)
    D: Ekman-Larsson, Werenski, Orlov
F: Pavelski, Bailey, Guentzel, Sprong, Killorn, Bjorkstrand, Tuch, Labanc, Donato, Necas

    Reserve:
    Datsyuk

It would have been nice to see the rest of your roster but you've already filtered them out.

From what I can see, I'd say Couturier.

10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, JaBenn, Couture, Wheeler, Lee, Turris, Letang, Kucherov, Byfuglien, Burns, Zuccarello, Hoffman, JSchwartz, KPalmieri, KConnor, Athanasiou, Bjorkstrand, Point, KHayes, Konecny, Vrana, NSchmaltz

    G- Vasilevskiy, Bobrovsky

im not sold Couturier can repeat..i would go with Hamilton here. I think you can get 2C that are better than Couturier and you will be hard pressed to have 4Ds better than Hamilton unless you focused on those during the draft.

Not a huge fan of apples to oranges comparisons - they're never as simple as they might seem. I'm thinking Couturier, since Hamilton didn't really get onto firm ground in Calgary until his second season so he might have similar adjustment issues in Carolina. Meanwhile Couturier, who was a scorer in juniors, has shown he's the real deal in the NHL as well.
