Those players should be available at my pick. I'm looking forward to draft a a prospect. Could you rank those for long term (points only)? I felt like Pettersson was better than Tolvanen and Borgstrom, but dobber ranked them ahead of Pettersson.

    Thanks

If you do a search for any of these names, you shouldn't have any issues finding plenty of threads giving rankings and opinions.

My crystal ball likes this this way today:

    Svechnikov
    Pettersson
    Borgstrom
    Zadina
    Tolvanen

In all fairness, all of these kids are highly regarded and desirable prospects. You are going to get personal opinions because we really have no clue how they will turn out in the NHL whenever they get there. Drafting any of them should get you a quality player. Saying which one will be the best one today is not an easy task.

I'm going to piggyback on the OP's question. Where would you rank Mittelstadt on that list?
Bonus question: which player(s) will have the most immediate impact fantasy wise?
    Cheers.

    I would rank them

    Svechnikov
    Petterson
    Zadina
    Mittelstadt
    Tolvanen

I have trouble ranking Borgstrom there. He is a bit stuck behind Barkov and Trocheck - that's why I would put him last. But if he starts in 2nd line wing he could do well this season already.

    5 keepers under 25 (June 1st). I have Svechnikov 19, Zadina 20, Comtois 21, Provorov 23, Pastrnak 24, Kase 24

    G: Shesterkin, Saros

    Pettersson/Svechnikov
    Mittelstadt
    Tolvanen/Zadina
    Borgstrom

Is how I would rank them. You could make the argument that Mitts should not have his own tier and either be in the EP/Svech tier or in the Tolvanan/Zadina tier. Tough one!

Close to Fung's take - although I put EP ahead of Svech in the "if everything goes right" ranking.

What Pettersson did overseas is just incredible. Like, astonishing. The only flaw I've ever seen (with any consistency) is weight. That's who I'm rolling the dice on.

Svech is dominant, and I think will be dominant. If he happens to find himself beside an elite C sometime soon, I'll call him and EP a draw.

Like Fung, Zadina is a guy I'm pretty big on too. And I like his situation to quickly find premium minutes and lineup position. If he had the same defensive game and pure wheels as Svech, I'd call their skill set damn close.

Mitts has big skill but he'll always be behind Jack and I don't think he has the same top upside to be a "Malkin" behind Crosby. He's great - but I'll take the above 3 over him.

What Tolvanen did in the K was also super impressive - but I guess I'm jaded from having seen lots of "elite shot" guys not translate that same dominance to the NHL. It's totally unfair to compare him outright to Yakupov - especially since I think Yak got a bad deal that killed his development - but I'm not confident betting on him to be a consistent 80pt guy.

Really like Borg too as a prospect but have huge reservations as to his situation (Bark/Troch) early on... and his development curve leaves me thinking he'll be bringing up the rear of this particular list.

As Axe said - it's super tough to predict junior-level guys in general, much less guys in the same vicinity talent-wise. But gun to my head, that's how I'd rank 'em.

Similar with only difference I'd flip Pettersson and Svechnikov and I think the former has 90+ point upside.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
