WHO TO KEEP...and strategy

We get to keep 18 players.....only restriction is we cant keep 3 goalies. Our top 13 Forwards, 5 Dman, and 2 goalies count towards standings.

Right now I'm sitting at 19 keepers....

Forwards Kessel, Kopitar, Ovechkin, Trochek, W. Karlsson, Laine, Backstrom, Couturier, Marner, Ehlers, Connor
Defence Hedman, Josi, Pietrangelo, Gardiner, Byfuglien, Macavoy
Goalies Rinne, Bobrovsky

SO I need to drop one guy...my thoughts are trying to do a 2 for 1 and upgrade a forward OR try and trade Ehlers, Connor or Byfuglien for a first round pick

DO you think these three are worth grabbing a Petterson, Mittelstadt, Tolvanen in the draft...I'm guessing Svechnikov and Dahlin go in the first couple picks.

I was thinking Gardiner might get a crap load of PPP (bonus of .5) with the leafs powerplay....hmmm

Definitely try doing a 2 for 1 upgrade.. but those are always hard to pull off.

If you can move McAvoy or Connor for a 1st round pick I think I would try that as well.

yeah trying both options right now.....unfortunately guys in the pool don't see the value of ehlers/connor

Then you need to move somebody you consider those guys roughly equaivalent to that they can appreciate the value of to get what you want. Go 1 guy up in the you rankkings of guys you're keeping, and try that.
