Hey guys!

In a banger league and want to beat them in the alley.

I've got a great core of Simmonds (75GP, 57PIM, 122HITS), Wilson (78GP, 187PIM, 250HITS), and Borowiecki (64GP, 64PIM, 226HITS).
Most of top value PIM guys are spoken for in my league: Haley, Wood, Oleksiak, etc.

And I'm not in a position to pay for Roussel or Gudas with my cap situation.

So who are the young guys coming up that are likely get a lot of PIM?

Of course Glatt is the first to respond to this thread! Hahahaha... perfect. If I had any rep power I would be giving it for making my day.

Unfortunately, we only count NHL stats. Though I'm going to start petitioning for a KHL slot immediately. The guy I'm looking for is someone with Ryspayev like charm that is likely to get some NHL minutes either now or in the near future... I had my eye on Brendan Lemieux.

I love Gudas. And there's probably a decent chance that I pick him up despite my better judgement. But, at 3.35m AAV, I just don't see the value. To compare him directly, I look at Hagg:

GUDAS
83PIM - 170HITS - 123BLK --- or 25PIM - 51HITS - 37BLK/$1M AAV

HAGG
32PIM - 244HITS - 127BLK --- or 36PIM - 273HITS - 142BLK/$1M AAV

When it comes to bang for your buck, there really is no comparison. (Hagg isn't available of course. It's just a comparison).

What I should be doing is asking about players directly... What are your thoughts on Lemieux and Gallant? Will either have a shot to play some games in the NHL and rack up some PIM?

Flyers just signed hitter Folin. He might get a chance when Gudad ends up suspended.

If Morin wasn’t injured I would suggest him.
