Will Zadina play in the NHL
Looking for some thoughts on wether or not Zadina will play with the Red Wings this year? If so, what do you think his point totals could be?

Not sure this has been clarified yet as to whether he was on loan to the Mooseheads or not. At least the last I heard they were still trying to determine it. Zadina and the Wings believe he was on loan and the Mooseheads say he wasn't on loan. Have you seen something that finalizes this decision?Originally Posted by ericdaoust

As far as Zadina in the NHL next season goes, Kenny Holland has said that he will get every opportunity to make the team as a rookie, but I think they say that every year LOL!. Detroit is notorious for not rushing prospects but it's clear that they are rebuilding and maybe Zadina shows them enough to stick around. If he makes the big club and sticks, I don't expect much more then 30-40pts for him.

I know it's not completely official but I doubt the NHL goes back on their decision after ruling him AHL-eligible.

Detroit hasn’t had high enough picks to draft a player who has the talent of Zadina very much in the past few decades so the teams past MO of holding young guys back wouldn’t worry me.
He might play a bit with the Griffins this year but he should get into a large chunk of games this season and be a full timer by next year.
A 50 Point pace should be doable.
