    Default Players to avoid/steals

Hey just trying to create a thread of players to avoid (at their trending positions) or guys that are falling for no reasonable reason and could be considered steals. Also players that while have high NHL potential , have much lower fantasy relevance and could go too high.

Guys to avoid taking too high :

    Hayton
    Delandrea
    Foudy
    F. Johansson
    J. O'Brien
    Jacob BernardDocker

Guys who could be steals at a lower draft position:

    Veleno
    Wilde
    A. Thomas
    Mcshane
    Kurashev

    Low fantasy potential:

    Martin Fehervary
    Adam Ginning
    Kevin Bahl
    Mattias Samuelsson

For me, I would switch Veleno and Jabob Bernard-Docker in your two groups. I think Veleno is going early in a lot of fantasy drafts and he could be someone who doesn't turn out as expected meanwhile a guy like JBD is someone a lot of guys are overlooking because many seem to think that Ottawa reached for him where they did but he could be a really nice sleeper. He has a lot of potential.

The first round was full of reaches. I would pretty much avoid all of them. Tons of owners default to the NHL draft order so naturally the off-the-board picks will always go higher than they deserve in fantasy drafts.

I personally like Bokk as a sleeper.

Ahh fair enough, I was mostly basing this in the NHL draft's effect on owners and their decisions.

Berggren and Wise were steals at their draft position. Bokk should have gone under 20 somewhere as well.

Calen Addison and Jesse Ylonen are my favorite steals as of now, taking into account both real life draft positions and how late they're being taken in fantasy drafts.
