I've never been that high on Fabbri, so I'd probably take a gamble on Makar. He's also a position of need, as you have the min number of D and no prospect Ds. Although you won't win this deal in the very short term.

I feel like I would take Makar as you could probably then flip him for someone with a little more certainty than Fabbri.

Hard to really know on either question but that's the gamble making these types of deals. FWIW, I think Fabbri has excellent upside as well. He just needs to stay healthy. Problem is, Makar could have just as many injury issues when he gets to the league as well. Thus the gamble.

I guess it depends on your teams situation with roster spots and team needs. I think this is a good trade for both sides.

I'd take Makar. He's going to be the man really soon in Colorado. He just wowed me at the WJC. He's the guy that stood out the most to me.

I would hit yes on that deal as well, Konecny going to be top 6 , probably top line - JVR will probably play 2nd line. You get guy for now and guy for later both with graet upside.

I’d take makar for fabri but I wouldn’t do the second deal. Giroux Voracek Patrick Coutier Simmonds if he stays and JVR should round out the top 6. Frost will replace simmonds. Chytil will lead the youth movement in NYR with zibby buch Anderson.
