Should I make a move here or just stand pat?

I am in 12 team keeper league- points only.

My team and more info in my signature.

We have a point cap system so the team that finished in first is having a bit of a cap issue for next year.

He's reached out to me wanting to move Voracek, Couturier, Bergeron, Gourde, Letang, Doughty, Bobrovsky, Statsny, Schmaltz and Reilly Smith

He is interested in my Point, Domi, Aho, Kucherov, Atkinson and Tolvanen/middlestadt from my rookies.

Should I be targeting anyone? If so what should I give up?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by a "point-cap" system, and have a hard time giving an opinion without knowing that. If you could explain it better we would have a better sense of what works for you.

Offer him Atkinson and domi for doughty. I wouldn’t be moving the others he mentioned for any of the players he’s offered. Maybe Bobrovsky if you think you can flip Crawford for anything of value.

Sorry for the confusion. By point cap system I mean that palyers points from the previous year go towards the cap.

We have 1225 total points we can use for players next year. Eg. If Kucherov had 80 points last year then 80 points go towards cap.

Cap lasts all season long.

If I understand this correctly, players that over-achieve in one year are brutal, and players that under achieve are like gold.

So a player like Atkinson, who wasn't great last year but ended the season really hot - I could see why he'd want to target him from you.

And a lot of the players on his list - while they are good players - I don't necessarily expect many of them to exceed what they did last year.

The one name that jumps out at me is Bobrovsky, because I have very little faith in either of your goalies.

I'm with AR here. Not much that he's offering that will be of much use to you next season, and the guys he's targeting aren't the ones you want to move. I assume he's typically at the top of the league and makes inquiries like this every season? Because that's how you stay at the top in a league like this.

Bang on guys. You understand my league perfectly. I think I do need help in goal but not sure how to get bob without giving up to much

I think Guentzel, Point and Haula are guys you could part with as I don't see any of them topping last season by much, and they should provide some decent return.

If you can package Crawford with one, then you could look to get yourself a stud goalie.

How do goalies get points? Just wins, wins and SO? etc.
Just going off the top of my head on guys you could target: Price, Holtby, Murray, etc. See if you can get a top end guy that missed some time last season, or Holtby who struggled some and lost time to Grubauer.
Crawford might be a high risk, high reward guy being that he won't have a high cap hit going into the season, but I don't trust his heath or Chicago.

I'm with EB that you should target Bob here. I wouldn't want to move anyone on his list aside from maybe Point though. I especially wouldn't want to part with someone like Tolvanen who I'm guessing will come really cheap for you, and should produce at a solid rookie pace.

I like the idea of Crawford and Point going out to try to grab Bob though for sure.

i dont like this one now. Domi i think will be really good in Mtl, likely better than Bergie. now i guess the same could be said for Bob vs Crawford so it might be a wash. but then you are giving Guentzel away for nothing...
