There goes Brees. Was thinking the same thing, hard to watch him slip that far before making a move, despite having TB already!

He's one of my favs to grab every year in the few redraft leagues I'm in. Very reliable/plug-n-play/high floor QB 1 w/butt loads of upside.

Jordan Reed’s rehab is on track, he’s a vet who doesn’t need a lot of minicamp work or preseason games. I bet he doesn’t touch the field until the 3rd preseason game.

As a Redskins fan, I'm not optimistic about Reed. If Smith ends up clicking with Vernon Davis in camp, could hurt Reed a ton. Smith was comfortable with Kelce, so he likes to use his TE, could happen where somehow Davis ends up with a 40/60 split to keep Reed healthy.

You guys are too good for me, I can't compete with you guys in mocks.

Its all for fun and practice and learning and discussion.

I would rather have someone in the draft and have to wait for them every once in a while as opposed to not have enough people to practice!

Stop picking D so early. Not worth it, trust me. First, it's a one-off spot, like QB and TE in this format. So basic supply and demand principles apply. Secod, and even more importantly, don't look at it as Team-D vs RB, WR, or TE still on the board. That's apples and oranges. Instead, look at it as Team-X defense vs Team-Y defense. Or put another way, the variance between a defense you're contemplating selecting in the 9th round vs a 14th round defense.

Example. Standard leagues have 12 teams. The 12th best defense for fantasy was KC at 107 pts on the year or 6.7 pts per game. The equivalent to Gio Bernard who ranked (in standard formats as this one) 36th RB at 108 pts. The difference betweem the 12th best D last year and the 17th (Dallas) 1.0 pt per game.

LA Rams were just selected. Dominant to be sure. They posted 131 or 8.0 pts per...good enough for 4th best overall. That's what Jerrick McKinnon posted last year as the 24th best or bottom end RB2 for fantasy.

Build depth at the WR and RB. Draft D late.

Thats my strategy. I don’t mind when others pick D early. Haha

I’d be worried if Reed sat out minicamps but he was working on the side. Plus he was the 8th TE taken, think I’ll be ok.
