    Default Henrik Haapala

Hey guys! So I know there are some threads about him but was wondering if anyone thinks he will play this year and if so, what's his potential? As you all can tell, my team sucks and besides the possible 2nd overall pick this year, I need to do well on the waiver draft. He's not owned and to me, I think it would be a decent gamble to draft him on to my main squad and see how it goes. Thoughts?

It's now or never for him but there's no room on the Panthers team. Last season was his best chance but it didn't happen. There might be better options for you.

I never got a chance to see him play one his 5gp (which were from Nov.22 - Dec.1), so I can't comment.
But I feel like he just isn't a "Boughner-type" player... neither was Radim Vrbata.
I mean, Boughner gave Micheal Haley 75gp.

Tough break for Haapala who probably deserves more of a chance than he got.

I'm definitely looking at Troy Terry but not too sure if he will be around when I pick in the 2nd round of the waiver draft. It's a pretty weak list besides the top 5 or 6, but Terry isn't on there and I am hoping the other GM's don't catch wind of it. Some GM's may lose some decent players as they don't have room to call them up, so perhaps I luck out there as well.

I would definitely take Terry over Hapaala if he's there. I'd also look at Dylan Gambrell (F) or Ian Mitchell (D) as deeper options. Terry isn't a super well known commodity YET... so I would think, unless your draft is rather thin, or there's astute GM's throughout, he would slip
