New 31 Team Salary Cap Dynasty Looking For Members ($10 Buy-In)

Starting up a new (very deep) dynasty league. It will be looking to simulate the actual NHL as much as possible. As such we will be following the NHL's salary cap as well as 50 contract rule.


The Basic Rundown:
The league will be run on Fantrax. We will be using their premium version so there will be an additional $2-$3 cost yearly in addition to your entry. Each of us will select a NHL team and keep 6 players on that team (any 3 forwards, 2 defensemen, and 1 goalie). Each team will be placed in their respective NHL division. Player's NHL cap hits will be used and that player will be yours until you choose to drop or trade them. In an attempt to make sure everyone plays each other frequently enough throughout the season, each week you will be playing 2 matchups.


Drafting:
2 drafts will be done.


The first will be an offline draft done to our teams. After selecting your team, you will be able to keep a starting lineup's worth of players (any 3 forwards, 2 defensemen, and 1 goalie). These may be active players or prospects.


The second will be a 44 round snake/straight (to be voted on) draft to select the rest of our rosters. Any players not protected after the first draft will be available.


Rosters:
* 4 Centers
* 8 Forwards (any position)
* 6 Defense
* 2 Goalies
* 3 Optional Bench Slots
* 27 Minor Slots


Scoring:
* Skaters:
* G = 4
* A = 2
* SOG = 0.5
* PPP = 1
* SHP = 2
* Hit = 0.5
* BLK = 0.5
* Centers:
* FOW = 0.1 (Only players slotted in as centers on a given night will accumulate FOW points)
* Goalies:
* Games Started = 1
* Each Save = 0.25
* GA = -1
* Win = 4
* OTL = 2


Prizing:
Divisional winners will win their entry back ($10)
Everyone else who makes the playoffs will win half their entry back ($5)
The champion will win 2/3 the remaining pool ( $140)
The runner up will win 1/3 ($70)
