Default Troy Terry vs Sam Steel

After looking at dobbers prospect rankings, i realized that these are the highest ranked prospects that are still unclaimed in my league. I am wondering who you think the better player will be in a points only league.

Also, looking at my prospect roster would either of them take the place of any of my current players.

I like Troy Terry, but Sam Steel is way better. I'd drop Niku for Steel, and possibly even Terry (but that one's close).

    GET WELL SOON, DOBBER.

Steel. I'm not as high on Terry as Dobber seems to be.

I think Terry will be the earlier producer, maybe 30-40pts next year if he plays 82gp.
He's a solid player but I'm not sure he cracks the Anaheim top six.
IF he can land on the ANA PP2 and a top six wing, he could have 55pt upside.

Sam Steel is the future C1 of Anaheim.
Kesler is toast. Getzlaf is a big-framed 33yr old who could come crashing down in next 3-4 years.
I think Steel is going to have something like a 20/40/50/60pt progression over his first 4 season.

I do think he is the most solid player & surer bet for long-term top six minutes and PP2 time.

    Steel for me.

Steel has more upside, but I doubt he gets more than a cup of coffee this season, he`s AHL bound this year. Terry is going to be good. I`m high on him and think he`s got 60+pt upside. I mentioned this in another Terry thread, a lot of people forget he went point for point with Borgstrom, but is actually a month younger than Borg. he played in the ncaa as a 17 year old and put up 22pts in 41gp... it's rare to see 17yr olds play in the NCAA at all.

I liken him to Danton Heinen & carbon copy his production from last year. but he still has to make the team, after all everyone thought Bjork would be on the Bruins & Heinen another year away

Steel for me. And your sig says keep 10 prospects and you have 12 listed. Does that mean you'd need to drop at least 3 of your prospects to keep Steel? Hep, Fox, and Niku would be my drops.

Just wanted to give this thread a bump. Has anyone watched ANA play this season yet? I'm curious to hear any feedback on Terry and Steel and how you think the season fares for them production-wise.

Terry looks to be playing top RW and averaging 14-15 min ice time. Second PP. No pts yet, but should get on the board with Getzlaf coming back.
Steel's ice time is all over the map from 13-20 min and he's been jumping around the lineup a bit as ANA deals with injuries.

Would a 35-40 pt season be expected for both these players?

Anaheim is a bit of a fantasy wasteland at the moment (except for Gibson obviously).

Comtois looks like he’s taken the reins early on.
