What to do in Winnipeg?

I'm headed to Winnipeg for 10 days for a work trip at the beginning of July.

Never been before, any recommendations on things to do?

Get a new employer?

Forks, Goldeye's, Bombers, Canadian Rights Museum good choices, Also Assiniboine Park Zoo - polar bear exhibit very cool. Get someone to take you out to Grand Beach or Gimli - about an hour outside of Wpg. Also a couple Casino's in town if you are into that. Lots of golf courses to try. Go for a beer on a Corydon Ave patio on a hot day, lots of great restarants there. If you are there July 1 don't miss going toThe Forks on Canada Day , great entertaiment and fireworks. Man you got a full schedule now Bring your sunglasses.

Some of these responses are quite rude to be completely honest.. Every city has it's good's and it's bads.. Winter's in Winnipeg or on the Prairies aren't for the weak.. Summer's are, for the most part, beautiful!!

Reminds me a lot of Ottawa.

Checked out the Forks, a Bombers game, headed out to Folkfest and ate some delicious food and drank tasty beers.

you can't be referring to my post... hehe it was too obviously a joke of a troll.. Mind you - I implemented this somewhat my week in Edmonton last year... I just didn't drink in the room every night..
