The value above replacement for a defenseman is greater than for a forward. Add to that that Pulock is more proven at this point, and I want Pulock.

I'd go Pulock, but as an old Strome owner (drafted him 2015 and had him until six months ago :/) I'm afraid he will finally break out this year. Still, Pulock with his big time shot from the point on a PP with Tavares (hopefully) and Barzal. That's fantasy gold.

Last night's trade really implicated / complicated Stromes role...I might be leaning towards Pulock now. I'm still processing it.

If your league has a premium on D, I'd lean Pulock...especially for the short-term. I don't think your Schmalta offer will get it done. The one that you can always try is to get a pick or something thrown in with Pulock....you are giving up a lot of upside, here...

Well I have made the offer. The Domi/Galchenyuk trade muddied the waters for Strome a bit, so I decided to pull the trigger on the offer. Hopefully it doesn't come back to haunt me. I'll let you know if he accepts.

I don’t think the deal hurts him too much... most teams use 3scoring lines now, are isn’t that deep up front and Strome will still be a PP weapon. IMO.. it helps him, gives them some depth and if the use chucky on the wing, I imagine it’ll be stromes wing he’s on
