I think Ho-Sang is the exact type of personality Lou will have no time for.

I think Ho-Sang will make an NHL impact next season. I highly doubt it will be in Long Island.

Rats back! It's a good time to be alive in the forums. I mean with all the EV talk and all. I'm new to all of the glory days but the forum never disappoints. I've lurked for a long time before I felt giving my opinion and really my opinion is only that. I have to agree with Rat on this quote. He'll have an impact somewhere. He has talent. Imo.

I posted this in another thread, but I feel like Ho-Sang is used as a trade chip to bring in another goalie, maybe Grubauer.

Kid is still 22 and has plenty of time to grow up, the talent is their for sure.

Hey might contribute for another team next year. Can see him getting packaged with a first rounder and maybe a higher salary player for a D-man. At best on the Isles he is a 3rd line winger with PP2 time.

Also seeing this as 50/50, it's not like he was setting the ahl on fire and forcing his way up (though his nhl numbers are pretty good).

Agree with the poster who mentioned that Lamerello is not going to care for him at all. If he does stick around, I think his value is increased if they lose Tavares. Otherwise I would not expect much this coming year - 30-40 points.

Lou put up with Kadri and Kadri is a grease ball. Ho Sang has 67 points in 100 AHL games. Not horrible by any means. Plus, the Isles record with him playing is better than when he's not. His ppg while in the NHL aren't too bad, either. I know he hasn't helped his situation by maybe saying things he shouldn't have but I actually believe the Isles treated him a bit unfairly on purpose. They did the same thing to Nito and now he's a solid contributor in Minnesota. Ho Sang has grown up and IF he's given a chance this year, I think he'll at least get 40 and 50 is not out of the question at all.
