Pretty good numbers for the amount he played in the NHL. I am not sure as to why people say his attitude is going to ruin his chances, as you got guys like Evander Kane doing very well and he isn't exactly a role model. Snow sucked at his job and although Ho Sang maybe spoke out more than he should have, I think he wasn't treated very fairly and IF he does make the team this season, he's the type to want to prove people wrong. I'm betting on 45-50 points this year if he makes the team.

Of course he has issues which will likely prevent him from reaching his potential. He can still be a very effective NHL player as he has already shown.

I have my doubts with Ho Sang. He hasn't exactly torn up the AHL with only 8 goals in 50 games last year. He will be an enigma his whole career and I doubt teams will have any patients with him. I think he could be a career AHL'er or worse.

Yeah, it may not be the best idea to throw shade on your GM, but if I was Ho-Sang and I was looking at the NHL team giving multi-year contracts to scrubs like Leo Komarov and Ross Johnston while I couldn't even get on PP1 in the AHL I would be pissed off. It's total crap, especially considering that Ho-Sang was very productive last season in a third line role running near half a point-per-game clip. It's just baffling that he can't get a look with this team.

He needs to get out of NYI. As mentioned there's too many grinders signed to multi-year deals. But the bigger issue is he's not forcing anyone's hand with his play.

I think he's just fed up with the situation there. He doesn't really even feel like strong play would force a decision right now, so he could just be dogging it. If playing at around a 40-point pace in limited minutes with lesser linemates isn't enough to even earn him a substantial look during training camp ... that's not a good sign for the organization. Obviously none of us have inside knowledge of the situation, but this one stinks from management perspective. JHS was a solid and important player last season when he was given the opportunity.

NO he's a cry baby and because he wants to wear Number 66 the old school GMs will hate on him.
Can't be a prema donna prior to being an actual NHL impact player.

He said the team did better with him in the lineup which again, totally true. How was he not called up at the end of the last season? What was the harm of getting him into some games when they were eliminated from a playoff spot? I like the kid. He's honest and he's a great talent.

i dont think anybody is saying hes not being honest...just saying he should learn to keep his mouth engaged with his brain when hes asked about how he feels hes been used / treated. i guess you can only keep quiet for so long, but thats his agents job not his. maybe its not what wed like to see from a player with regard to being a cliche quote machine "Thats between my agent and the team, im just here to play hockey" kinda thing, but thats the response he should be spouting.
