I was expecting the "None of the Above" option to win really. That happens and all the European and China gets to bid on it. Then think about the money that could have been used as bribes.

From a sports perspective this is going to be a fun experience for Canadian soccer fans. But from a citizen POV I want FIFA as far away from me as possible.

It will be cool that it's in North America, but in reality, this is primarily a US bid. I think the only reason they brought in Canada and Mexico was for PR reasons to lessen the Trump Factor (as in the rest of the world primarily hating him).

Anyhow, from what I've heard, it's something like 10 games in Mexico, 10 games in Canada and 60 something in the US; with the US getting all games from the quarter finals on.

So basically Canada and Mexico each get a group or two as well as a few of the preliminary elimination games is probably how it plays out.

All three host cities will get berths with the tournament increasing to 48 teams.

Not sure who was taking Tim and Sid’s word as gospel. That was funny.

Wouldn't surprise me if Canada was the 1st host country without a team.
That would be fine because we have a Prime Minister who doesn't believe Canada is a nation...maybe we can represent the United Nations.
