Before this, I thought odds were about 50-50 that one or both of Karlsson and Hoffman were getting traded this summer. Now I wouldn't expect either of them to be in Ottawa come training camp.

I dunno, it seems the entire Sens team is throwing their support behind EK. If Hoffman goes, he knows the whole team is united behind him. That would do it in my eyes. Although with everything that's going on, I think Melnyk gets closer to selling the Sens. I do wonder, if he does sell - does Quebec City keep them the Senators? or change the name when they relocate them?

Yeah, he seems pretty unconcerned about Canadian markets. Like, I get that there are bigger cities in the US that don't have pro teams yet, but honestly, how hard would it be to generate enoigh interest to support an NHL club in most Canadian cities. Especially after seeing how Winnipeg has been supported in the city.

You mean the same Winnipeg team that had unsold seats these playoffs yet nothing was said about it in the media?

Really? Where'd you hear that? Everything I can find lists them as having been full for every home playoff game this year. Maybe a counting difference? Like x number didn't get sold before game day maybe? Either way, based on what I saw of the street parties it looked like the city was behind them 100%.

I personally just don't know how something so toxic can't be seen by management. Pretty much just to end it before it got as bad as it did.

Amazingly management was in the dark with the 76ers thing, including (apparently) the GM. You just never know.

I think IF it turns out to be her, AND he stays with her then you have to question his values.

If he leaves her then you can't really blame the guy for her actions. Sometime's when you're with someone and you're too close to the situation you can't see that person doing something as horrific as this.
