Until we know where he's playing next year, it's hard to answer your question. I don't think his best days are behind him but I am not expecting a career year from him next year either.
What to expect from Patches next year? I have a GM in my league who is interested and I am pondering dealing him.
Are his best days behind him? Will next year be a bounce back campaign?

nothing wrong with dealing just about anybody, just depends what you get back...if you planing to deal him just to move him out cause he had bad season i would not do that. If you can get something significant in return then why not....im furthers thing from a habs fan there is but i do think he will bounce back

I do think his best days are behind him because he cannot create offense the way he used to without a proper center making plays for him. If he's dealt to a team where he gets to play with a good playmaking center, I do think he can produce very good numbers still but at this point I don't see him being able to do it by himself the way he used to.
If you are choosing between keeping him and dealing him, then chances are you will have to sell low to deal him, which I'd advise against.
Always depends on the return though. I believe that Montreal still desperately needs a centerman, and is pretty thin on the D-line. Patches has the talent, just depends on how much he is expected to overcome.
He'll still be productive.
The real question is what are you being offered. Much easier to give you advice there by saying he will or won't be better than what you are offered.
I think you can trade him without fear of regret, provided you're getting still decent value for him.

personally, I hate trading players when their value is so low. Patches will bounce back to a much higher level than he performed last year - even if he doesn't come all the way back. The smart play is hold Patches until next season and trade Oct/Nov -- A return to 30 goals next year should shock no one really.

I'd want to see if gets out of Montreal before dealing him, unless the return is really good.
Out of Montreal is a plus for him, as their roster is awful.

I have this very odd feeling Pacioretty is going to end up with the Islanders, Flyers or Flames, so I would stand pat.
If Lou can convince JT to stay and part of his pitch is bringing in NY native Max Pacioretty to play alongside him, Pax could bag 40.
If he stays in Montreal I would expect 50-55 pts.
If he gets moved to a better offensively charged team I would expect 60-65 pts.
part of me wonders after his horrible season if Toronto doesn't offer him a 2 year deal at 5.5m each to replace JVR who will turn down 5.5 for 6 years.

What is the interested gm offering? May be an easy answer regardless of where he ends up.
Set roster weekly in H2H (Mon to Sun) - 16 Teams - start 6F, 3D, and 1G per week - Keep 2

IR (2 max):
This exactly... Patches can streak like crazy too. Wait for one of those weeks where he hatricks and lays out 10 points in 4 games. Then move him for MUCH more than you will get right now. However, if he gets traded to a contender and he has this kind of outburst (because he will), then you will grapple over keeping him.
10 Team H2H Points (Keep 1C, 2W, 2D, 1G, & 1 non-goalie):
G,A,+/-, PIM, PPG, SHG, GWG, OTG, FOWs, Hits, Blks, Maj, Mis, (bonus scoring for D-men makes them comparable to Wing)
Wins, Saves, GA, Shutouts
18 Man Roster (3 IR slots) Daily Start: 2C, 4W, 4D, 2G
C: Zibanejad, Thomas, Tavares
W: Stutzle, Robertson, Connor, Buchnevich, McCann
D: Makar, McAvoy, Josi, Theodore, Matheson, Harley
G: Georgiev, Binnington, Kochetkov, Andersen (IR)
Kessel out, Patches in.
