Not really surprised that Vegas is favored to win.....but I wonder if they still would be if the series started in Washington?

One storyline that has not gotten enough traction is George McPhee. He essentially built both teams in the Stanley Cup Final. I find that so cool. I haven't confirmed it but I'd imagine a dozen-or-so Caps are from the McPhee era. Pretty crazy. I'm sure it's going to be emotional for him if the Caps win-- how can he not smile for a second if he sees Ovechkin finally get it done?

What do they all have in common? Good movies? The team you are cheering for loses? Yup, Yup,

Therefore I think Washington will win in 6 games. Backstrom has 4 days to get healthy, and Ovy wants it bad! Go Caps!

I would really love to see Ovechkin raise the Cup. The team seems possessed and if Holtby can keep playing decent, they have a good shot. I also really like what Vegas has done though and it's hard to write them off...again!

I bet this is going to be a very low scoring series with lots of tight checking games with no open space. Lots of 2-1 and 1-0 games and will go the full 7 games. Washington in 7.

thats how I'm feeling too ......ovie , backstrom , holts deserve to finally hoist the cup but man oh man , vegas would be kinda neat winning it too.

on hockeycentral they were talking about the caps not sending in an aggressive forecheck on vegas as a strategy . I guess we'll see if the caps utilize it

Caps in 6. The Jets largely played themselves out of that series (not that Vegas isn't an excellent team), and I don't think that'll happen to the Caps. I wouldn't be shocked if I was wrong, though. Should be a great series.
