Who of the three is the safest to play in the NHL next year. Who puts up the most points?

Safest to play in the NHL next year, I have to say Tolvanen. Based on the fact that he was called up to play some at the end of the season. So I think since he is the safest to play in the NHL next year I have to go with him for the most points next year based on games played solely.
However, if all 3 players played the exact same NHL games next year I would have to say Mittlestadt would get the most points, but I do not see him getting the same number of games.

I actually think Tolvanen is the riskiest to play much in the NHL due to the depth of the Preds. Vancouver media refer to Pettersson as 'Gretzky-esque' and there's ample room for him in the top 6. Mittelstadt already played and looked comfortable - similar to Boeser last year with the 'Nucks in the late season audition

Tolvanen played 3 games (0 points). Middlestadt played 6 games (5 points). And a quick look at line combos says he mostly played on the 3rd line and 2PP unit. I think CM has a better opportunity because the Sabres have holes everywhere.Originally Posted by PenguinHunter

No reason yet why Mittelstadt and Petterson won't play in the NHL all of next season. Tolvanen has the most competition ahead of him and Nashville will by far have the least amount of patience out of those three teams. If he gets off to a slow start they might send him down to the minors to get himself accustomed to NA hockey.

Safest to play os definitely Mittlestadt as he already played a handful of games last season..

Long term I am going to guess: Pettersson, Tolvanen, Mittlestadt..

Safest pick on both questions: Mittelstadt IMO.
I think he probably gets the most points too. Good opportunity there whether he plays C or wing. If he plays wing he will get a top C, if he plays C it likely means ORielly was traded. They won't be able to keep him off the pp.
Tolvanen is risky because of how good a team Nashville is, but then again I think he probaly does crack the roster at some point. Could be a healthy scratch for a good 10 games though
Pettersson has big upside, but hard to know if he will be able to have an instant impact.
edit: I agree, Jost is a little bit below those 3. But not by a ton.

Mittelstadt is legit. If O'Reilly is moved out, I expect him to take his place on PP1 and boost his stats by 10-12 points.

Pettersson and Mittelstadt you would think will get more ice time since they are on the worse teams. Tolvanen could get brought along slower since Nashville doesn't exactly NEED him right right now.
