    Default Saad for Domi

Hey guys. I own domi and just received an offer for saad in a full keeper league. Goals are worth 3 points, assists 2, +- is worth one point..pp points 1 point, shp 1 point..hits 0.1 and shots on goal 0.1. Thoughts?

To say Saad was disappointing this past season would be a massive understatement. I think most seeing him going back to Chicago would be a good thing but that was not the case. I do think he's a buy-low candidate and certainly a nice bounceback candidate as well.

I'd make that trade and hope that Saad can bounce back.

Both players have been underwhelming. I would stick with Domi too. Saad was awful and Chicago's situation is a mess. To think the Blackhawks moved Panarin to bring Saad back, what an awful trade.

To me it's a lateral move. I see both as 50-55 players with not more upside. From this post you see Domi has more value so therefore I would gi with him for higher trade value

I actually think Saad is a safe bet to bounce back and hit 50+ next year. I still prefer Domi in most leagues though-- I think his ultimate upside is higher and he has significantly more trade value in every league I'm in

And how weird is it that the Coyotes are now a more attractive longterm home for fantasy forwards than the Blackhawks? Wow, if we didn't realize the winds were changing in the NHL then this sure hammers it home.

I think the upside of Saad is better in a format where G=3 and A=2. He's also more proven. I'm not sure what happened to him this year. I also thought going back to Chicago was a good thing for him. Maybe the lack of team success? The pressure of replacing Panarin? The way he was used? Admittedly, I didn't go out of my way to watch a whole lot of Hawks games this year.

Saad is more proven but I like Domi's upside. Domi for me.

Both have enough warts that I'd probably just hold pat if I were you in hopes that Domi, the younger of the two, might have a better shot of outperforming Saad.
