I know drug addictions can be very different than gambling & video game addictions.

In one of these instances the body has ingested a substance which then causes effects on the body which leads to more desired consumption of said substance.

The other is not ingested, therefore there are less things that can be going on with the body biologically. Yes, I understand that certain behaviors can generate very good feelings, but it's not exactly the same as a biological response.
