    cite*!

Everyone can say Holtby, Bobs, Crawford, Price, Quick, Rask, and Schneider, that isn't very difficult to predict anymore.

All will say Vasilevskiy and Hellebuyck, presumably.

Other always easy younger options to bandy about are Murray, Gibson, Jones, Allen, Andersen all will allow your squad to be successful this upcoming season.

What about Dubnyk or Rinne? Bishop or Lundqvist?

Goalies can be fickle, but what is it you are looking for in terms of having a "successful year"?

Thanks for the thread, I do as well tend to believe (or want to believe) that Rinne will be moved and Saros will be given a longer leash. Regular season workhorse only to thrash two playoff runs. Brutal. But Rinne will do well, I'm sure.

I see Rinne retiring in Nashville, and not until after signing one more contract. Saros is great, but Poile isn't really known for trusting kids over vets. I see Rinne getting 50+ starts still for sure. No knock against Saros, I just foresee him slowly being moved into the role, with Rinne signing another deal to help a slow transition.

Generally the top 5-10 goalies are the workhorse guys on the contending teams, so barring injury, it's easy enough to assume your Rasks, Fleurys, and Hellebuycks are going to be solid bets to fill your #1-2 roles in fantasy. That said, I think the goalie carousel this summer will be more names like Lehner, Grubauer, Ward, and Mason. Aside from Lehner, I could definitely see all three of those guys having big increases in games played, and their overall rate stats as well. Might be solid targets as a number 3 goalie.

So true! Last year Jonathan Quick was worth NOTHING ion my league, but Murray/Talbot were seen as long term keepers...

    No Gibson love?

I just plugged in his name vs. Dubnyk, Andersen and Murray (to name a few) for last season and 2016-17 in the Compare-A-Goalie and he has the better numbers both seasons. And that's considering Getzlaf and Kesler were gone for extended time last year.

He is the model of consistency on a perennial playoff contender

I would say that's probably his injury history keeping him back, but yes I think people should give him a bit more love after a pretty elite year.

If he can keep healthy... yes he's a stud.

    Kinda like Murray.

bobrovsky, quick. might not win vezinas but they could compete and are pretty safe picks for being above average to top end goaltenders.
