This is a really tough one! My brain tells me to say Tarasenko but then when you compare stats you see just how close it is. Sorry I can't help you decide but I'm looking forward to reading other responses.
Long term, who you got? Dynasty cap league. Salaries are pretty close, Draisaitl's younger, but Tank's still quite young. I feel like Draisaitl's got more long term upside, but maybe Tank's got another gear we still haven't seen. Also, if Draisaitl loses RW eligibility over time, his value decreases (I'm stocked with untradeables at C already).
GET WELL SOON, DOBBER.

I think this one is pretty easy, the only way I like Tarasenko more is if goals are worth more than assists. Other than that Draisaitl for me.
Interested in the categories, as well.
I would lean toward Tarasenko. I feel like Draisaitl centres his own line for the majority of the year next year, and that'll bring his ES points down a bit. Throw in that Tarasenko is $1 million cheaper, and he's my pick.
tough to explain the league settings. multi-cat, based on a points system. point per game players are very valuable no matter what their peripherals are. and these guys are pretty close in the peripherals. so basically what it comes down to is: do either one of these guys flirt with a point per game on an annual basis - I love tank, but he's already 26 so it looks like we've seen what he is. while draisaitl is much younger and we might not have seen his best, or have we? and what is he gonna do on an annual basis?
GET WELL SOON, DOBBER.
Like previously said..it is pretty close but I think Draisaitl has a bigger upside....most likely the end up very close in points in the next 2-3 years but if one can reach 90pts, I think its Draisaitl.
i would keep Tank, its so close that my reasoning is that at some point Leon will be C only and good wingers are harder to come by

If FOW are a category, give me Draisaitl here, especially if he keeps his W eligibility.
If no FOW as a category, I'd go with Tarasenko.
It's close no matter how you slice it.

I'd keep tank, simply because I wouldn't want to be relying on positional eligibility. I do think Drai will lost his wing status at some point.
Tank being cheaper and a winger tips it for me. Long term at least. If those two things weren't factors I might actually swing towards Draisaitl by a hair. I think Draisaitl is going to outpoint Tank this year, as he's going to be rehabbing all summer and might miss the start of the year.

How has no one mentioned sogs??? Tarasenko is upper ecehlon elite here whereas drai is in the 2.5 per game range- decent but not great. I like drai and in points only it's close. Most formats I'll take tank tho based on the goals, sogs extremely solid floor and attainable upside. I still dont think weve seen everything Tank has to offer...
I'd go with the tank.

Are there bonuses for goals? If so, might lean Tank. If not, might lean Leon.
I think Tarasenko is a steady 35/35/70 guy but Draisaitl has 25/55/80 upside.
Then there's the age difference. Goal bonuses makes this interesting. Straight points, long-term, I'm probably going Neon Leon.
